Drafting Documents
Our firm has extensive experience in drafting all governing documents affecting community associations, including covenants, conditions and restrictions (sometimes referred to as CC&Rs), articles of incorporation, bylaws, rules, design guidelines, and fine policies, including amendments to said documents. We believe we are uniquely qualified to draft and amend documents due to our extensive and varied experience on behalf of community associations, including as general counsel and in prosecuting and defending claims on behalf of associations. Our firm believes that governing documents (and amendments thereto) require attorneys with both transactional and litigation backgrounds in order to ensure that all issues requiring attention are adequately covered. Associations can negotiate flat fees for amendments and revisions to association documents or they can have them done on an hourly basis.
