Transition and Turnover
Once a certain number of lots have been sold or after the passage of a specific period of time, the developer turns the operation of the association over to the homeowners. Many questions arise when this turnover occurs. Some questions pertain to the organization and operation of the association by the homeowners, including finances, and other questions pertain to developer obligations once the turnover has occurred.
